Our NDFRC is a safe and nurturing place where we encourage learning through play. We are dedicated to helping you create strong family bonds, supporting one another, sharing ideas, forming long lasting friendships and having fun with your children. We offer out of centre activities including picnics in the park and so much more. All programs and activities at NDFRC are offered free of charge.
The North Delta Family Resource Centre is located at 11838 88th Avenue (New Hope Church).

Programs
Parents and caregivers of children (0-6) are invited to our Drop In programs where we offer a wide range of fun filled activities designed especially for you and your little ones. Songs, stories, books and toys promote learning through play. Drop In programs are offered on:
Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday from 9:15 - 11:15 am
Tuesday and Wednesday from 12:45 - 2:45 pm

For children up to 15 months of age, in collaboration with the Fraser Valley Regional Library, we offer English Mother Goose with songs and rhymes, designed to develop your child’s eagerness for learning, communication, literacy and bonding.
Strengthen your family with our Family Empowerment Program; an ongoing support group offered for parents of children 0-6 years, which includes a separate program for children. This program is offered Thursday afternoons from 12:30 to 2:30 pm.
Parents and Caregivers are invited to take part in any one, (or all) of our workshops, covering important topics such as safety, nutrition and more. Parent Workshops are offered each month, (usually on the last Tuesday morning of the month from 9:30 - 11:30 am). Please contact 604-591-9262 extension 118 or 583 for more information.
Our Kindergarten Readiness programs in collaboration with the Delta School District are essential for all children who have not attended Preschool, before they enter the school system. This program is offered every spring at selected schools in North Delta. Please call for more information.
PARENTCONNECT
The ParentConnect program offers parenting support, education, advocacy and information to families with children between the ages of 0 to 6 living in Delta. We aim to foster safe and healthy child development, promote a positive parent/child relationship and enhance family functioning. The Program is outreach and families are visited in their home or the community with services identifying family strengths and encouraging self reliance. We also provide information on other services/resources, to help participants get connected for additional and future support.
Who is eligible?
If you have children between the ages of 0 to 6, live in Delta and are isolated and/or facing other challenges (financial, emotional, parenting, health, nutrition, etc).
Referrals
Referrals are accepted from community agencies, health nurses, hospitals, social workers and schools. Self-referrals are also welcome.
Length of Service
Ranges from a few months to a maximum of one year.
